The sound of childhood for me is the ice-cream van. Its rare i bought or got anything bought for me from the ice cream van, but it always reminds me of summer days, playgrounds and my childhood.
There’s just something about that enticing jingle that gets both adults and kids in a good mood and there is nothing better than enjoying a cold ice cream on a hot day after hours playing in the park.

Honestly? The sound of my childhood was the old Doctor Who theme.
Although I was two when it was cancelled, I don’t remember Sylvester McCoy, but I was brought up on the old classics Who’s on VHS – John Pertwee, Tom Baker, Peter Davidson. It was great. I was the only kid at primary school who knew what Doctor Who was, but that made me cool.
So yeah, when I hear it come on, it always reminds me of when I was little.
